Run every checker from your own server

The TalismanLeads API does what the website does: send a list, see the price, place the order and fetch the result. You pay from the same balance, at the same prices.

How it works

  1. Create a key

Make a key in your account. It is shown once, so keep it somewhere safe.

  2. Estimate

Send your list to POST /estimates to see the price and any problem with it. Nothing is charged.

  3. Place the order

Send the same list to POST /orders with an Idempotency-Key. The order is charged once, however often you send it.

  4. Fetch the result

Check GET /orders/{id} until it is finished, then get the file from GET /orders/{id}/results.

Quick start

Replace the key with your own. The base address is https://api.talismanleads.io/v1, and requests and answers are JSON.

1. See what it would cost

curl -X POST "https://api.talismanleads.io/v1/estimates" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer tl_live_your_key_here" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"checker":"whatsapp_status_detection","entries":["+14155550142","+12125550187"]}'

2. Place the order

curl -X POST "https://api.talismanleads.io/v1/orders" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer tl_live_your_key_here" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: crm-export-2026-11-05" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"checker":"whatsapp_status_detection","entries":["+14155550142","+12125550187"]}'

3. Check on it

curl "https://api.talismanleads.io/v1/orders/ord_8f2c1e7a-3b4d-4c5e-9f60-1a2b3c4d5e6f" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer tl_live_your_key_here"

4. Get the result

curl "https://api.talismanleads.io/v1/orders/ord_8f2c1e7a-3b4d-4c5e-9f60-1a2b3c4d5e6f/results" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer tl_live_your_key_here"

Good to know

  • Money is always a string in US dollars, such as "18.00".
  • Every file is billed as at least 2,000 entries, on the API as on the website.
  • A list of up to 100,000 entries and 4 MB can go in the request. A larger one, up to 10,000,000 entries or 200 MB, goes through POST /uploads.
  • Check an order's status every 30 seconds or more. How long an order takes depends on its size and the checker.
  • Allow up to 5 minutes for an answer from POST /estimates and POST /orders: a large list takes time to read. A shorter timeout makes you send it again for nothing.
